Steps to Download Individual or Multiple Files

Follow these steps to download one or more files. Downloads consume credits (1 credit per point cloud).

Step 1: Access the Data Downloader

Go to this URL to access the Data Downloader. You can also access it from the Jakarto platform homepage by clicking on the "Data Downloader" tile.

Step 2: Navigate the Map

Use the navigation tools to move around the map and find your area of interest. We recommend zooming to a street-level scale for better data selection.

Step 3: Select the Data

Use Shift + drag to draw a box, or use the Selection Mode button. Selection is enabled from zoom level 10 and accuracy improves beyond zoom 13.

Once the selection is made, the files will appear in the sidebar menu. You can then choose which ones to download based on their acquisition date or spatial coverage.

Download a File (Per-file)

1. Locate the file you want to download in the list of selected files.

2. Click the download button to the right of the file name.

3. The download will start automatically.

Download Multiple Files (Batch)

To download multiple files or apply on-the-fly transformation options, follow these steps:

1. Select the files: Use the checkboxes (or per-mission select all) to pick files.

2. Optionally choose CRS options (horizontal and vertical) and the preferred format (LAZ/LAS).

3. Click the Download Selection button.

Notes:

• The batch limit is 50 files per download.

• Downloads require sufficient credits; when credits are insufficient, download buttons show a tooltip and are disabled.

• You can copy the selection (file IDs) to the clipboard using the dedicated button.

Credits and Purchase Flow

• Each download consumes 1 credit per file.

• Your remaining credits are shown in the sidebar.

• Click “Replenish credits” to open the purchase dialog and choose a pack (5, 20, or 50 credits). Checkout opens in a new window.

Known Limits

• Selection enabled from zoom ≥ 10; best accuracy at zoom ≥ 13.

• Jakarto Raster overlay visible at zoom ≥ 16.5 (toggle in Map Options).

• Batch download capped at 50 files.
