# Finding Your Location

## Panoramic Images

Panoramic images are the most intuitive way to find your bearings.

That said, a few complementary localization methods are available to help you find your way around Jakartowns.

## The Address Bar

The address search bar automatically displays the address closest to your current position (updated with every move).

You can use the search bar to quickly reach a specific address or place. See [the section on the search bar](/guide-jakartowns/en/getting-started-with-jakartowns/deplacement.md#teleporting-to-a-location-from-the-search-bar) for more details.

## The 2D Map

The 2D map can be used to find your bearings in Jakartowns. Among other things, the base map layers, raster tiles, and civic numbers can help you locate yourself using the 2D map. You can zoom and pan the 2D map to select the location you want.
